Massive Dynamics Limited is a joint venture of Massive Dynamics Labs, LLC and Willow Capital, LLC. Both companies have come together to support local Korean companies in the development and expansion of opportunities outside the Asian market.

As an executive manager and entrepreneur, David Foos brings more than 25 years’ experience in startups, turn-arounds, and Fortune 50 companies. David’s passion for launching new products and technology combined with his desire to build high-performing teams has been a winning combination throughout his carrier. His experience in executive management, sales, product marketing, engineering management and finance are the foundation to David’s repeated success.

David founded Teamvibe (USA), served as Global COO at Sonata Services (Hong Kong), and Global CEO of Southend Interactive (Malmo, Sweden) before being acquired by Ubisoft. As CEO of Room 5, Inc., he successfully executed the restructure and spin-out of the company from international parent company, Tactel AB; Room 5 was then acquired by Danish consulting firm, Ciklum, AB. David also founded Telacies, Inc (acquired by EuroRSCG, a Havas Company), served at Azingo (acquired by Motorola Mobility, a Google Company), Zyray Wireless (acquired by Broadcom), and PrairieComm (acquired by Freescale Semiconductor).

In addition, David operates Massive Dynamics Labs, a global consulting firm, working with high-growth companies and applying his experience in both technology and business to maximize the success of companies around the world.

Andrew Yu

Andrew Yu is a more than 20 years experienced marketing and business development professional.  As a Business Development Manager for Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (FCEDA), Andrew heads up all the marketing efforts in Asia.  Prior to joining the FCEDA, he was a product marketing manager at Freescale Semiconductor (a Motorola company) where he was a part of a team that developed the 3G and 4g (LTE) mobile handsets.  Andrew also spent a number of years at a start-up software development company where he managed corporate marketing activities and opened the Asia office for the company in Seoul, Korea.  From Seoul, he managed the company’s business development efforts for all of Asia, including China, Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.   Andrew’s experiences also include starting his own R&D company, raising capital, mentoring start-up entrepreneurs, and investing in them.  

In 2018 Andrew founded Willow Capital with the mission to invest in high-growth companies in Korea and in the US.  To-date Willow Capital has made several key investments in technology companies; and will continue to look to invest in exciting Korean companies in software, machine learning, big data, cyber security, fintech, edtech, foodtech, artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies.  Andrew received his BS in International Business at Illinois State University, and MBA in Marketing and Finance from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

Charles Kim currently serves as the Representative of Fairfax County EDA in Korea. He performs this role in his capacity as President of Korea Business Consulting Corporation.

Charles Kim is a seasoned bilingual professional with over twenty year’s experience handling business development on behalf of U.S. clients in the Korean market and Korean clients in the U.S. market, with a proven capability in the arena of identifying and cultivating investment prospects for target U.S. locations.

Prior to founding Korea Business Consulting Corporation, Charles Kim served as the director of U.S. Asia Commercial Development Corporation, which is a U.S. company specializing in business development and marketing for foreign corporations and organizations in Northeast Asia, with Korea being a primary market focus from 1997 through 2007.

After receiving his Master of Business Administration from the Sogang University and as member of multiple business organizations, Charles Kim has established extensive networks throughout the Korean business community.

He served as Korea Trade & Investment Promotion’s (KOTRA) Advisory Committee for promotion of Korean IT business from 2009 through 2011 as well as the Secretary General of the Association of American State Offices in Korea (ASOK) from 2007 through 2009. And, he served as Consultant to the business expansion consulting center established by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) from 2012 to 2016, Chairman of Trade Committee of ASOK from 2014 to 2016 and Consultant for Marketing and Export of the Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA) from 2014.

Charles Kim serves as the Mason Korea Advisory Board Members, operated under the aegis of the George Mason University, Korea, LLC (“Mason Korea”), with mission to further the success of Mason Korea and its students by increasing the visibility of the campus in Korea and internationally; by providing insight regarding the needs and interests of the communities we serve; by advising on and supporting development campaigns; and by creating networks for jobs or internship opportunities for our students.

Charles Kim has the specialized knowledge and network of/in ICT and Bio Technology industries. Charles lives in Bundang, Seongnam City with his wife and 2 children.
